The fact that Amara couldn’t sleep was one reason why she hated being a vampire. Sure she loved the power, the agility, the speed, you name it and Amara was grateful for it. Although she never really tired she just wished she could sleep again. It felt unnatural to be up at this ungodly hour. Amara had wandered around the park before but tonight felt unusually restless. It was only just beginning to be night and these small hours were always Amara’s favorite. It’s when she felt most normal. Slowly she took another lap around the park before finally cutting through the children’s playground. Her hand skimmed over the small things. The edge of a slide, a ladder to the monkey bars, the chain on a swing. Finally Amara sighed aloud. Yeah we were dying of frustration, singing Lord lead me not into temptation the soft lyric whispered on the night air. Amara loved Coldplay. The lyrics could always suit some human emotion she struggled with at the moment and currently yes it did feel as if she were dying of frustration. Though she couldn’t say she wanted to be lead from temptation. Eternal life was useless if you didn’t have anyone to spend it with and lately it felt to Amara as if she had lost someone who she had planned on spending it with. For some reason living in London brought her thoughts that seemed so vaguely déjà vu she wondered if she was going crazy.
A deep baritone bell boomed from across damp grass and Amara wondered what the beautiful church would look like. She had taken a fancy to photographing them lately. Always at evening. Something about the bells and the steeples and everything about a cathedral absolutely enthralled her. She never had noticed them until she came to London though. Resisting the urge to lay down on the grass Amara pressed on to finish her cut lap however the view brought her to a halt. The city lights of London shone on the sparse clouds about creating the look of clouds filled with brackish water. Amara wished she could capture it with a photo but cloud pictures never seemed to turn out the way she wanted them to. Leaning against a sign post Amara stared at the view wishing desperately that she had another soul to share it with.

Still they hate you ,, You're a vegetable ,,
Lily chuckled as Astera darted off to wards the park and was quick on her tail. She darted past building after building, quickly over taking her and laughing as she did so.
It was only a short run to the park, even for a human it would have been a short run but for a vampire with her speed it was seconds. She skidded to a halt just outside the park, her laughter quickly subsiding as the smell of a vampire hit her.
"Someones here" she whispered to Astera, knowing that she would be able to hear her not matter where she was. Lily's dark eyes scanned the park, trying to find the scent that was filling her nose.

Astera stopped and she inhaled, about to say a witty remark or perhaps something sarcastic but she paused as she caught the familiar whiff of the Vampire as well. Her smile turned into a frown and without hesitation she plunged into the park in search of the Vampire, motioning for Lily to follow.
She remained unarmed, knowing that their sudden intrusion would alarm and perhaps frighten the other Vampire - who was female as she could tell by the scent- and spotted the Vampire at once.
Astera paused in her steps and held her hands up. "We are unarmed, only here to act like childish fools that we are."

Amara wheeled torn from the beautiful view by the surprise of two other vampires. Any other time she wouldn't have let anyone sneak up on her. She was just cautious like that. Something about living life in a big city set her on edge though she always welcomed the rush. Rather convenient that these two lovelies had shown up just as she was wondering if anyone else could be enjoying the view at the same moment though it was obvious from their playful demeanor that they were also here for pleasure and not on business. A small smile crept over Amara's face and she relaxed her clenched fists. She had been prepared to fight but it was easy to see they didn't want that at all. Well I'm glad to hear that you aren't planning on attacking...I don't think I'm in the mood for a fight anyway she grinned at the both of them.
Amara shifted so she leaned against the sign post again. As for acting childish I don't believe the term exists...after all everyone deserves to have fun every now and then...especially vampires she said lifting her shoulders in a lazy shrug. But seeing how you have stopped for the moment I suppose we should do the adult thing and introduce ourselves...I am Amara she said bowing stiffly hoping to get a laugh out of them. Being friendly came fairly naturally to Amara though she was great at picking up on vibes. She had only run into one Slayer her entire life as a vampire and it was a quick escape. She preferred to not kill them seeing how that might dig a vampire deeper into trouble with them. Or maybe she was just a weak minded fool. The latter seemed most logical now that she thought about it.

Wow the moon is so full tonight Hayley whispered to herself as she gazed up at the white orb peeking out from behind rain clouds. She had just come from a gig at a local bar and reeked of cigarettes but she didn't care, Hayley was having the best night of her life. Hayley looked around to make sure no one was watching and saw no one right away. Alright...one thing will make this night amazing. she began to concentrate. Soon, the air temperature around her began to plummet and is began to snow. Hayley opened her eyes and giggled in delight as the snow gently fell to the ground an soon it had accumulated to more than an inch. Hayley bent down and picked up a handful and tasted it. She was rewarded with a taste of crisp cool water. Too most is was plain, but to Hayley it was like a glass of water in the Sahara. Hayley then fell back wards and started to make a snow angel.

Lily darted across the park, close on Astera's heels. She rolled her eyes as Astera stopped and raised her arms in a innocent way. Lily did not follow suit instead she stood with her arms crossed a little behind Astera. Lily didn't trust her own kind, not even those who posed no threat.
Lily looked her up and down as she spoke. She appeared to be here for a similar reason to her and Astera, to act like 5 year olds. She bit her lip gently, contemplating her answer.
"I'm Lily." she answered "Lily-Rose" she added. Watching the girls reaction.
Most vampires acted in the same way to Lily once they found out who she was. They sunk into a full crouch, hissing as they did and it resulting in Lily ripping their heads off, literally, or worse.
Lily had no doubt that the vampire in front of them would recognize both her and Astera, since they were both infamous for their kind.
Lily growled loudly as the snow started to fall. "It's not cold enough for snow..." she whispered, sniffing the air cautiously.
The scent was easy to detect, one of "them", mixed in with the cold smell of snow. She glanced at the two in front of her and darted to wards the smell, before darting back so quick only another of her kind would know she actually moved.
"One of "them" is behind us playing in the snow" she said, angered littering her tone. What a great way to ruin her evening, having to get into a fight with a immortal more powerful then herself.

Astera bowed to Amara and smiled. "I'm a Wolfy, to be correct. And my name is Astera."
She held no hostility as she stood, her body relaxed. Amara may not have recognized her, it did happen from time to time, and she was not too worried. Astera hated and liked everyone equally, Vampire or Slayer or "Them" or not.
When Lily left and returned, Astera raised an eyebrow.
"One of 'Them' is here? Huh..." Astera chuckled and stepped around Lily, walking in the direction she came. "One of the good things about 'Them' is that a lot of 'Them' cannot sense Lycans from humans. A few can, but not many." She spoke in a hushed tone so the 'Them' could not hear. Her steps were light and wistful, her tone edged with a slyness that meant she was up to something. "The two of you... either stay hidden or perhaps go wander somewhere and I will find you. ..But you may want to watch. Not all of 'Them' are bad and sometimes.. it's fun to try and see how far they will go with you."
Astera smiled. She liked testing humans, especially the ones known as 'Them'. Of course, she was not sure if she was stepping into a trap or not but she had done that more than enough times and if worst came to worst, she played herself off as a Slayer. That worked nearly every time.
She walked through the falling snow, tilting her head back to let the flakes kiss her cheeks and decorate her black hair. Following her nose led her right to Hayley, and her posture changed to that of a casual park goer, observing the unusual snowfall, a beautiful woman in her young twenties just... wandering about. She stopped as she saw Hayley and she smiled.
"I always thought it was a little too cold for snow. Glad to see someone else enjoys going out every and now then, too."
OOC: I love how bold Astera is. "I'm gonna walk riiiight into trouble... and pretend I'm not what I am... hey maybe I can get something out of this." *Winkwinknudgenudge* Lol. XP

OOC: XDDDD
Hayley heard the voice before she saw the girl...well woman. Actually she had been so engrossed in playing she hadn't heard anyone coming. Strange, Hayley thought, I know I would have heard someone coming. but she just brushed it off and smiled at the new face. Oh Hi, Hayley said with bit of a surpisred tone, I didn't see you there, and ya scared me. She shook out the fresh snow from her cherry colored locks. Hayley took a step closer and held out her hand. I'm Hayley she sated plainly, And I don't think I have seen you around, I would have remembered someone with hair that long. Hayley had hoped this girl hadn't seen anything she wasn't supposed too.
Hayley studied this stranger and immediately felt a weird vibe from her. She was Beautiful, to say the least. Hayley quickly noted that the girl was shorter then her. Wow someone shorter then me! Hayley thought smiling to herself.

Astera accepted Hayley's hand and returned the shake.
"My name is Astera. Like the flower, with an a at the end." Astera shrugged her shoulders at the comment of having been seen around here. "I actually live in Wales. I'm new to the area. Kind of.... checking out the pubs, meeting new people, seeing if there are any jobs available." She smiled, her voice light and upbeat. "You probably know how that is."
Astera glanced down at the snow angel and laughed a little. "Snow angels... God, it's been a long time since I made those... Used to make them with my Da' all the time when I was a little girl. Sometimes, he'd throw me in the snow and I'd end up making angels with worm-like wings. Say, I know this is a little weird... just meeting you and all... but you're from around here... Do you know any decent places to drink and maybe stay for a night or two?"
As long as this gave Lily and the other Vampire, Amara, time to flee, she was up for putting herself into further possible danger. But who knew, the girl could be decent and she seemed decent right at the moment. Astera was not exactly going to try and get drinks out of her or anything.... but what the hell. Winging it was Astera's favorite game.

Amara lifted her face pasted with a quizzical look to the sky. Where in hells bells did all the snow come from. She could tell it was unatural due to the fact that it was still rather warm outside and when she forced a breath from her underused lungs no frost cloud could be seen. What was that supposed to mean? A phenomena? She watched the two other vampire girls. Obviously they seemed to understand what was going on better than she. She hadn't caught the whispered caution from the one called Lily so naturally she followed with her torso the movement of Astera. It was only then that she saw the fire haired youth tossing snow as if it was the most natural thing in the world. Another vampire? She could feel the vibes from Lily that whatever it was it wasnt to be trusted. Thats when Amara realized just exactly what the red haired girl was. A slayer.
Amara had half a mind to snatch Astera back to the safety of two others like her but could only watch as the bold huntress came up to the girl in the snow. Although Amara and Lily were out of ear shot (not by much) the girls fiery red hair was a shocking contrast to the crisp white formality of the snow. One more photo opportunity that she wouldnt get again probably. Amara shrugged it off and turned to Lily. I suppose this means I should run for my life...sadly I don't scream much anymore...maybe it would be best for me to stay she said keeping a serious tone to her lips but her eyes sparkled with laughter. Though Lily and Astera were new to Amara, it wasnt like her to leave others alone in the face of danger. If this fire haired girl could be considered dangerous. She rather reminded Amara of a puppy the way she rolled about in the snow.
ooc: sorry I just realized how wrong some of my info is...Astera=werewolf (like my boy Jacob Black!) and I believe that fire haired Hayley is not a slayer...sadly I believe I am too lazy to fix my post lol so lets just pretend!

Still they hate you ,, You're a vegetable ,,
Lily watched with caution the conversation between Astera and the new girl Hayley. This was very much out of character for one of "them". They usually attacked, killed then left. Nothing else.
And that fear decided it, in several large steps she closed the gap between her and Astera and stood by her side.
"Was it you, who made it snow?" she asked, faking the wonder of a mortal girl, slipping a sly wink at Astera.
Lily was not one to leave anyone to fight alone, werewolf or not. Lily knew where her alliance was, and that was against "them", even if it meant joining forces with those she hated.
She glanced back at Amara, and grinned a toothy grin to let her know all was safe. For now atleast....
ooc; Horrible post, feel free to rip me to shreds ladies!

Wales, really? Hayley questioned, that's fun I am from Ireland originally. Hayley looked to the snow angel on the ground. The snow glittered back at her and it soon turned to slush. She gave a laugh and her pale skin betrayed her emotions, as it turned a shade of red that rivaled her hair. Yeah, I haven't done it in a while. Hayley finished as she noticed another girl's approach.
Hayley was surprised to be so suddenly outnumbered. Oh. you guys just are falling out of the wood work. Hayley said as this new girl approached. As this girl approached Hayley could see that she hid her toned body under clothes that were too big. This girl wasn't a polished diamond...but maybe a diamond in the rough. Hayley heard the girls question...Was it you, who made it snow? Hayley let out a laugh and looked back to the two as she held up a finger to her lips, Shhhhh it's a secret, okay? and with that she gave a wink. Hayley hoped they would buy the lie. She didn't want to hurt anyone. Oh, and to your question Astera, there is this little place I sing at, Hayley said, I suppose you could get a drink there.

Astera's eyes widened as Hayley said she had made it snow, genuine surprise spreading over her features.
"You really made it snow? I've heard of... wow," she chuckled. "I never would have thought someone would be able to..." She said the words as if she was trying to believe it but years of strict schooling on physics and what happened in the world were stopping her from believing.
"You sing? You should take us there." She lightly grabbed Hayley's arm. "I'd love to go," she said and stared her in the eyes. "It's been a long time since I sang and I guess since I'm starting in a new place, maybe we should try a new beginning with a new friend, huh? Oh, and this is Lily Rose, my cousin. See how flower names run in the family?" Astera rolled her eyes. "Hippie parents and such. Before you say it, I know we look nothing alike. Married into the family cousins but we decided to get to know each other since we were both heading to London. One of our mutual friends is hanging back... her name is Amara."
Astera waved her hand in the air, turning, beckoning Amara over. It was a human action, a mortal action.

Amara after watching the motion to join them decided it was safe enough but she kept a small amount of caution about just in case. After all she still didnt quite know Astera or Lily yet. She didnt want to push the limit on immortals she knew. Sauntering over Amara watched all three of them wondering what was going to happen. It would be amazing if she had the gift of premonitions or some kinda crystal ball. I don't practice santeria...I ain't got not crystal ball the words floated through her head and Amara rolled her eyes. She wondered just if it was a gift or a curse that she could easily call up any lyrics that had to do with whatever she was thinking about or planning on doing. Maybe she could slap a title on it and make it a gift. That would be just amazing.
Stopping in front of the three girls Amara inhaled deeply blowing out hoping to catch sight of a frost cloud. When no white greeted her eyes she shrugged and looked at the red haired girl. Whats the point of snow if it isn't cold...mind you that wasnt an invitation she warned. It was obvious this girl must have some sort of power over the weather. Now that was an awesome gift. Anywho I'm Amara she said lifting her hand and waving lightly. She was never really one for shaking hands. It just was never her style. She'd always imagined that the man of her dreams would kiss her hand like some sort of gentleman when he met her. She doubt that would happen though. Besides it would probably be someplace ordinary like a Starbucks or through a friend and Amara had to admit she would giggle if she saw something like that happen in a coffee shop. What happened to chivalry?

Hayley nearly fell to the ground laughing. I can't believe you guys bought that, she choked out between laughs, and I'd love to take you some time, Hayley said as she gathered herself and smiled at the girl now approaching. I hope they bought that, Hayley thought, oh great another one. This new girl was also pretty, Hayley watched her as she approached. She was shocked at her statement, The point of snow is to create a Winter Wonderland Hayley said back sharply to Amara, You need to enjoy things while you can. Hayley looked up to the sky and was greeted by a beautiful heavens filled with little stars winking back at her. It reminded her of a night with her mother. Hayley let one tear escape her eyes and quickly wiped it away hoping that they hadn't noticed.
I am getting myself into deep trouble now, need to make a quick escape. Oh Damn,Hayley said as she looked down to her wrist, I need to get home. I have a little kitten that needs her food. Hayley looked to the three girls hoping that they would believe her and let her go. She didn't want to be turned into the start of the next witch trials.
OOC: I am working on the angle that Hayley doesn't realize that there are more like her. The "Them" that is. She also doesn't know she is immortal.
