* Werewolves ,
Also known as lycans. Werewolves are humans who are forced to turn into a wolf on the full moon, due to a virus in their blood.
The infection is passed on through being bitten and there is no known cure. The older a werewolf is, the more control it has. Someone who has been a werewolf for 15 years will have complete control and will be able to turn into a wolf on comand, not just on the full moon or because of extreme emotions.
To kill a werewolf you must disconnect the heart from the brain, all other injuries they can heal from, unless the injury is made with silver. Silver will not kill a werewolf, only seriously damage them.
Werewolves are super humanly strong and heal quickly, they also have super human speed.

Slaves to the night, vampires need to drink atleast a pint of blood a week to survive and can not venture into the sun. If exposed to sunlight a vampire is instantly reduced to ash.
As vampires age they gain more and more control over their blood lust and can go longer lengths of time without blood.
Vampirism is also a disease of the blood and is passed on by being bitten, there is no known cure.
Vampires can only be killed by direct sunlight, being bled dry or drinking cold blood (Blood from somethings that heart isn't beating).
Vampires, like werewolves have super human strength, speed and healing abilities.
