"I doubt any place that houses werewolves." Arion stated back to Lily. "I've had way to many bad encounters with them to trust them."She got caught off guard by Killian's offer. She didn't know how to answer it, seeing as she had just met him. He looked trustworthy, but she knew appearances could be very deceiving. The nicest, and most trusting looking, people could be the ones to leave you in the gutter; hungry, immobile, just as the sun is about to rise. She knew, by past memories, she should only trust herself. But one look into his cool eyes made her want to swoon into his arms. She didn't like that this guy could make her second guess her own instincts. But she did need a safe place to sleep and it wasn't going to be here. As she thought, she heard Lily's offer too. She didn't know anything about her and Lily made her more uneasy then Killian did, but in the bad way. She looked at Killian, deciding to go on what he decided.
OCC: this is a very bad post, I apologize.

[limegreen]Lily was right. There was definitely something going on behind closed doors that he had never thought of. There are immortals out there that aren't even vampires or werewolves. Which made him wonder, what they are exactly. Lily had been in the game a lot longer in London. "New York never had such things to worry about." He smiled a little to himself. "This could be interesting."
Arion made it blatantly clear that there was no way in hell that she was staying in this place. At least, not while the wolves inhabited it during the day. Killian did not blame her either. He didn't feel like dying in his sleep.
Lily offered her place, but he had to decline. "No offense Lily, but I feel safer alone than I do in numbers. Despite what would be the better choice. And if they somehow see fit to kill me, then so be it. I've lived long enough." He was feeling slightly pessimistic now that he knew that he had to fear for his undead life, but what was the difference when he had nothing to live for.
He looked at Arion once more, wondering what she was thinking. Killian would enjoy chatting more about this disturbance with Lily. But he had offered his living quarters to Arion for a night, and was wondering if she was ever going to accept or decline.[/limegreen]

Lily shook her head and the girls comment and chuckled loudly.
"Then i advise you to also leave England. You won't survive here long unless you are willing to make strange allies." she turned her gaze back to Killian and studied him briefly. He seemed to be a interesting character to say the least.
Lily laughed coldly "Apparently English vampires are the only ones worth destroying" she sighed and shook her head. "Although, i don't doubt that once they've converted one country they'll move to another" she shrugged, that wasn't her problem, and it never would be.
She would face her death when and if she had to. And she wouldn't go down without a fight. But Killian's words were already sparking off a idea in her head. A way to keep Valkyrie safe....
She shrugged at his answer "Suit yourself" she glanced out the window and tutted loudly at the small amount of light breaking through the top of trees.
"If you'll excuse me, i must leave now." she half bowed to them and darted to wards the door. She paused for a moment and turned back to them.
"If you ever do need someone to protect you..." she paused. "Go to the park, i hunt there every Tuesday."

Arion once again listened to the two converse. She wasn't really one for talking to much. It was easier to stay in her head. She heard Killian decline Lilly's offer. She definitely had a better feeling around the male then she did Lilly so she didn't feel to out of sorts when she was the girl leave. Arion looked up at Killian once again. "Is your offer still open?" She asked, semi-blushing. Well as much as a vampire could blush. She was about to accept when she suddenly got a wash of dizziness about her. Damn this sickness. She thought she had it under control and could just shake it off, when she felt her legs buckle beneath her and she fell to the floor. It was so cold. She felt so cold, well colder then normal. Then black out.
OCC: Once again, sorry. My muse is slowly returning. lol

[limegreen]He nodded a good-bye to Lily then turned to Arion when she spoke. He was going to answer when he noticed her aura change. The look in her eyes seemed out of focus. Then they rolled and she fell to the floor before he could react. She lied there for a moment before falling unconscious. Killian sighed heavily. Just what he needed. He looked around, thinking of going to find Lily but thought better of it.
He knelt down nexted the Arion and swiped a piece of hair from her face. Even for a vampire he faced looked flushed. Killian looked her over and decided it better to take her with him than to leave her here.
Killian carefully nudged his arms beneath her and lifted her off the floor. Cradling her in his arms, he went to the door and pulled it open slowly. After stepping through to the ante room, the door closed behind him silently. The front door was slightly ajar, not quite closed from when Lily left. His toe wedged in and it opened easily.
He must have looked odd walking away from a safe haven and through town to his own. Anyone he passed stared more at the girl than at him, wondering what had happened. But it was a short trip home, retracing the roads he had learned on his journeys that night, and soon he was inside his apartment, lying her on his comfortable couch and striking her across the face gently. "Wake up, girl," he murmured. He didn't want to have to hit her harder.[/limegreen]

Odd images. Strange old laughter. Swayed lights. Everything blurred together. The strange sweet feeling in her head as she danced with the rest of them. These were the dreams Arion had every night. Random thoughts or Memories she wouldn't let herself remember during the day, so at night they came in abundance. Oh, how she wanted to get away from that life, but she was to far in it to do that on her own.
She slowly started coming to around the time they hit the outside. The cool air knocking a bit of sense into her. She watched the pedestrians just stare as Killian rushed past them. She had no clue where they were headed, but for right now she'd go along with it. She liked this better then her dreams.
She let herself slip off once more until they reached the apartment. She felt the light tap on her face and began to drag herself into consciousness once more. She looked at Killian and slowly started to sit up, her head spinning. "Where are we?" She asked looking around in wonderment.

[limegreen]He grinned a little and sighed in relief. She wasn't just going to take up space. Killian watched her wandering eyes and looked around himself. "We're at my apartment,"he replied. It wasn't as flattering a place as it could have been. The apartment he had in New York was better than this.
It was a simple one bedroom layout with a small bathroom and a living room area. His television sat in a corner, unused and mostly for decoration. He didn't entertain much, but if the occasion arised to appeal to the young men and women, well...media was a sure way to do it.
He looked back at Arion and grimaced a little. "I didn't know where else to take you." Killian rubbed the back of his neck a little sheepishly. "And I wasn't about to leave you to the mercy of wolves." A small grin crossed his face. It was a spiteful grin but he pushed the thought of the mongrels from his head.
He stood and sat on the edge of the couch next to her. Letting his head fall in his eyes as he turned his head, he looked at Arion cautiously and wondered what she was doing all alone in this place. But then again, what was he doing here? "Do you need anything?"[/limegreen]
